The company started to be known as Salvino Engineering and Machine Shop and was founded in 1952 by Engr. Filomeno J. Salvino, well known to many as "Meno" with whom he has seven children. Herminia - "Hermie" to most, supported her husband untiringly. Their teamwork as husband and wife and love for each other brought the idea of establishing an industrial business utilizing the unparalleled skills of Engr. Meno in metal fabrication with one second-hand machine to start this 60-year-old industrial business.
The company since then has established its name in producing the highest quality of metal fabrication, repairs, and other services. Companies like Unilever Philippines formerly known as Philippine Refining Company, and San Miguel Corporation (Glass and Carton Plant), are some of the first companies served by Salvino Engineering and Machine Shop.
Because of the company, more Filipino skilled workers were given the opportunity to work. They were trained under the meticulous hands of Engr. Salvino always settled for the highest quality of work
Agriculture was once a part of the company's expansion, but the priority was on the Industrial Sector of the company. That's when the name Salvino Agri- industrial Machinery, Inc. (SAIMI) was born. Through the years of its existence, it has produced world-class machinists, welders, and workers that specialize in metal fabrication and welding jobs; repairs and maintenance of conveyors, pumps, and motors, and other general and specialized machine shop works.
It upholds its reputation for producing the highest quality of products and services in all phases of contract machine works, delivering high-precision, accurate machining techniques with utmost durability that only trained Salvino workers can deliver.

We ensure that all sites of assignments are manned by trained employees on the basics of Safety practices on site and in the workshop.
We have 6-man Safety Committee, an nurse and doctor in the team. Our safety officers are experts on BOSH, COSH and First Aid.
We have committed and hardworking rounding safety officers who ensures all employees are compliant to safe practices at all times.

Assessment , Diagnosis, Treatment of Manufacturing Machine Lines, and Plants
- The business unit that is the main focus of our company since it was founded. We offer customized repair and fabrication of Machine spare parts to Machine Overhauling and Modification.
Assessment, Diagnosis, Treatment of Agricultural Machines, Lines and Plants
- Machines, which are utilized for agriculture, can be built and made functional in our shop. The concept from the client can be integrated to our professional expert's engineering input to provide the customized machine for agriculture use. This is a budding unit that we are strengthening on a step-by-step process.
Customized Metal Fabrication, Design and Manufacture, Metal Furniture and Fixtures.
- We accept metal works that is used for homes, kitchen, appliances improvement, furniture and fixtures for bars, restaurants, hotels and buildings.
Trading
- With our prompt and strong procurement department. The engineering needs of our client are served with promptness and perseverance so the buying requirement of our client is addressed.
Hauling and Trucking Services
- We render transfer services within NCR or elsewhere in Luzon.
Manpower Services and Internship Program
- We provide machinist, mechanic, welders, and professional drivers on-site. We provide training for ME students and student Machinist under internship program.
Basic Civil Works and Carpentry (Metal Structure component Installation)
- This is a new unit we have established and continuously improving so we can serve our client holistically that is from fabrication of the metal product to its installation. We accept wood works that requires metal parts installation or a component that needs to be integrated in the end product such as building of waiting sheds.
RETAIL BRAND: TIGAS TIBAY
- This is a dream that is a near reality. A local metal fabrication products from the Philippines. It started by doing household items from fabricated metal stainless steel such as cloth rack, hangers, wall mounted holders. It is so strong and robust which gave us the idea of sharing the products to every Filipino.
